Moving to BCIT

Filed under: Uncategorized — dtengineering @ 10:49 am

After 12 years at David Thompson Secondary, and 13 years of teaching high school technology, science and math classes, I’m looking forward to something new this fall. I’ll be teaching Electronics, Structures and Materials to students in the Technology Teacher Education Program at BCIT.

I’m looking forward to sharing a passion for these subjects, along with the many lessons I have learned from my high school students, with BC’s up and coming new shop teachers.

  1. Hey congratulations on teaching at ‘the Farm” (does that make you a farmer, now?)

Without knowing you, you seem like you would be an excellent fit with the excellent cadre of instructors that were there when I went through.

    All the best!

    • Yup. Got a good crop of second years heading off to UBC this year and the first year crop is looking strong, too. Thanks for the vote of confidence!
